In addition to the spacious common room and well-equipped kitchen, the building has two comfortable bedrooms. The washing room includes a toilet and electric sauna. Next to one bedroom is a separate toilet and shower. For those looking for a wood-burning sauna, one is available on the lakeshore. The common room of the lakeside sauna contains a sofa bed for two.

The kitchen has direct access to a light and spacious inside porch. The property also includes a warm sleeping hut with two single beds. Perfect for giving younger visitors (or even older ones) the space they need.

Distance from the terrace to the shore and the sauna is 20 metres. The solid-based sandy shore is a safe swimming spot for children. At the tip of the rocky cape you’ll find a jetty with stairs for adults looking for a proper swim. Next to the sauna you’ll find a place for a campfire. A short row from the beach (40 m) is a beautiful rocky island belonging to the Jokiranta estate, a great destination for a visit in the summer.

Halli is the closest town, located approximately 12km from Lammassaari. There you’ll find a store with postal services, a pharmacy, a hairdresser’s, a florist’s, a health centre, an automated petrol station, a cash machine and a restaurant.

Also see local events and locations, like Mänttä Art Festival and Serlachius Museums in Mänttä as well as the Iskelmä festival at Himos, near Jämsä. For a more metropolitan experience, Tampere and Jyväskylä are easily reached, with the entirety of the Pirkanmaa and Central Finland regions around you.
